Last night were held the annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. As Game of Thrones was nominated in several categories, Sophie Turner naturally attended the ceremony, wearing a gorgeous Valentino gown. And what a night! Game of Thrones has broken the record for the highest number of Emmy Awards won by any fictional series. Indeed, the show won the Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Special Visual Effects, Outstanding Casting for Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series & Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series (for “Battle of the Bastards”) and Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for a Series, Limited Series, Movie or a Special awards. It also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Oscar Isaac, Rose Byrne and Evan Peters. Set in 1983, it tells the story of the re-emergence of the world’s first mutant, world-destroyer Apocalypse. The X-Men must unite to defeat his extinction level plan.
